Hi,

I would like to create a OBIEE custom page / Dashboard which can be displayed should our ETL fails to load data into our warehouse. Any suggestions or experiences from anyone?

    It all depends on the behavior you look for ...

    If you just want a message as information or want to make the system not available and of course also depends where/how you can know the ETL failed.

    Well, I was thinking more on the Catlog side where as soon as we know the ETL failed, we can replace all Dashboards with a message unless there is some dbms jobs can be run to achieve this?

    Replace all dashboards? Still doesn't mean if you want to allow the users to use the system or not as the dashboard is just a collection of things but the real content from the analysis etc.

    I was trying to get a page which can replace the OBIEE home page by manually activating some exception or a link or something... Your answer lets me think more over what and how I can layout the strategy
