Hide Column Based On Pivot Table Prompts in Oracle BICS Analysis
Hi!
I have a pivot table and i am using "Fiscal year number" and "fiscal period" dimension in pivot table and a prompt that is "Fiscal year number". When i select fiscal year 2018 it shows record for 2018 and shows no data for 2019 and other years that is having data but does not hide those columns on the basis of prompt. I want to hide the column based on prompt value ,if i select 2018 it should only show 2018 data and should hide 2019 columns instead of just showing null data in 2019 column. Scenario is shown in the attached image.

Hi,
I don't have BICS around and it's ages since last time I touched it, but in a prompt there must be a checkbox inside the pivot table properties to say to hide columns/rows without data. So try clicking either on the "xyz" icon of the pivot table and look for that kind of option.
