Schedule a prompted agent

Hi,
I would like to create an Agent to deliver a report in OBIEE 12c - 12.2.1.3.0 but any suggestions on how to handle the prompted part? How can I have the User select the prompts before it can be scheduled? Do I give access the User to the Agent? Do I create some sort of Action on a Dashboard that captures Users input through a Presentation Variable and then somehow pass it on to the Agent? Any suggestions/solutions?

I haven't heard of a way to do that. (I'm in 11.1.1.9.5) Agents aren't interactive.
You didn't provided any details about what the user would be prompting for, but you can deliver conditional content based on the recipient's identity, either from a field in the data or from a session variable. If you want them to pick a schedule option, I suppose you could have multiple versions of an agent set up as subscription agents, then they could select a version.I have built agents that show noteworthy data, along with a link to the related live dashboard.
I'm not a guru, so I could be wrong. Good luck!

Thank you for the input and as far as providing details lets say a User wants to run the report every time by a different Group of Marketers. I can have the Agent schedule and deliver the contents to the User with a Pre-defined filter which is set for a specific Group of Marketers. But I want this process to be automated and not have the User mucking with the Scheduling Agent... Any ideas?

Are you familiar with theses settings on the Recipients tab?
If your specific recipients are identified in the data and associated with their Group of Marketers, they will only receive their specific records.
