BIACOMP schema is missing after running RCU 11.1.1.8.1

Hi All,

I am trying to set up an instance of OBIA 11.1.1.8.1 on windows server 2008 R2 machine. After running rcu,I am able to get the success message of all OBIA related schema's i.e DW,BICOMP and ODIREPO.

But when I check in backend in schema_version_registry,BICOMP is missing. And if I try to re-run RCU,I can see BICOMP enabled again which allows me to re-run but after doing that I can get duplicate entries of ATG,FSM,BIACM_IO but BICOMP is not visible in schema_version_registry .

No matter how much ever time I re-run RCU,it only allows to create BICOMP schema only (DW and ODIREPO will be grayed  out since it has already been created) .But after re-running also,i can't see BICOMP getting created in schema_version_registry in backend.

Because of this, configuration process of OBIA is getting failed.

Kindly help me out in solving this issue by giving your valuable inputs.

    Hello Karthik,

Did you try removing all the schema and recreating them again?

    Hi Shams Abbasi,

Yes.I dropped all the schemas created before re-creating.If we don't do that ,it won't even allow you to re create the schema. After dropping schema,if I re-run I am getting success status for creation of DW , BIACOMP and ODIREPO .But again BIACOMP is missing in schema_version_registry .So when I re-run RCU it gives me an option to re-run BIACOMP which indicates that it hasn't been created whereas DW and ODIREPO will be grayed out since it will be created .This looks like a strange issue since creating schema using RCU should be a straight forward job. I have even raised an SR for this but I am not getting a proper response from support team.

that sounds strange, try creating schemas with different prefix. Try logging in to the database and see whats happening there.
