is there any way where we can create, update, delete data from oracle BI publisher 12c tool? something like write back data to table option in Oracle BI publisher 12c.

You shouldn't try to make an analytical tool into a data entry platform. Use APEX for this. It's comes free with the database.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion apex, but our requirement is making some changes data at the same tool, as we have already some reports are existing in oracle BI publisher.

That requirement in and of itself is non-sensical, but good luck fulfilling it.

so when we have obiee write back option, not in BI publisher with write back option??

Answers (OBIEE analysis) and BI Publisher are 2 very different tools, they don't share the same functionality. BI Publisher has some integrations with OBIEE to use the BI Server as a possible source, the security and catalog can be shared, but the 2 tools are still different and separate tools.

BI Publisher doesn't have write back, just like Answers can't do pixel perfect reports.

Like Gianni said - the right tool for the right job. It's better to understand which tool does what instead of making tools to things they're not designed for.

You can use a van to go around a race track, sure, but it's not its purpose and a race car will be better at it. Conversely, a van will transport goods better than a race car. Right tool for the right job.
