How to create a READ-ONLY user in OBIEE 12c?

Hi,

   OBIEE.....: 12.2.1.0.0

   We have a requirement to create a read-only user on OBIEE 12c, to view dashboards. In OBIEE 11g, we had the role BIConsumer, but, aparently, this changed in OBIEE 12c. I also checked the Weblogic Console, and i couldn't find a similar role read-only. How to create this user?

    OBIEE 12c no longer pre-creates the LDAP group/application role mapppings.

    AFAIK BIConsumer is still present in the Starter and SampleAppLite BAR deployments. Have you created/mapped the LDAP group of your desired read-only user to the application role in EM?

    Hi,

       thanks for the attention. WE don't have the SampleAppLite deployed on our OBIEE installation. Without this deployment, i have to create the BIConsumer manually? I've already created a user inside Weblogic.
