Hi,

Not able to attach a Customized Template in standard oracle Po

Steps.

1. created New template code

2. Created New Data Template

3. Attached as setup in purchasing in Standard PO template

4. Change document style sheet to our new customized template

5. Create New PO after Approval check document

But i am getting error as No document pages. Please help me out

Normally in PO Print, once you print the PO print flag/Print Date will be Yes so you cannot generate the PO document again, in this case you can re-print the PO.

While Submitting the PO Output for communication in the parameter re-generate Yes/No option will be there you can use it to print the PO document again

Hi brajesh, tis is oracle EBS,

Once Po is Approved, Automatically it will trigger PO output for Communication , then email will be sent to Customer with PDF format. So when you view the PDF format it will be Standard PDF template.

Now user is having some Customized report printing Program when he runs this program, for Approved PO, , he will get PDF out with New Customised template, which they have Designed ( rtf template)

Now what customer is asking he don't want the standard template output to be sent as a work flow, so what he wants is the customized PO outfut, that form should be communicated to the Supplier.

Steps what i have done, steps as per see and attached new Template in style, so now when i Approve the PO, po output triggers when i see the output data is empty it shows

Hi ,

PO Approval workflow trigger same PO Output for Communication program.

Request you to Run the PO Output for Communication Program manually for same PO/Supplier by passing below parameter

Test : Debug

Regenerate Document : Yes

1. Above output will generate the XML file for PO Output for communication. Please review the XML file if this is generated correctly it means data generation process is correct and some issue with RTF

2. Once you get the XML Data please run your rtf locally using BI Desktop using same XML data and check if in RTF all looks good.

Please update result of above steps to check it further.

Can you please explain me the difference between TEST flag and Regenrate_doc parameter
Actually if TEST = N and Regenerate_doc = N then i'm getting older data,

if TEST = N and Regenerate_doc = Y then i'm getting new data,

and if TEST = Y and Regenerate_doc = N then also i'm getting new data.
What is exactly meaning for this two parameters. And for both parameters default value is N so can we change this to Y as default (as it is standard so can we do this ?).

This is a very old thread that was migrated across many forums and the users never connected to this one in the last years.

It wasn't even clear what product OP was using.

If you have a technical question about Publisher, please post a new one in https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/bi-publisher providing some context to your question (like product name, version etc.).
If your question is about a feature of another product, maybe Fusion or other ERPs, then sadly this isn't the right forum.
If that's the case, if you share the product name, we should be able to point you to the right forum.
