RTF split to different PDF is not working

Hello,

 

I have a custom RTF template and an XML data file. The XML contains 3 records for employees each with a child tag for reference code. 

 

I would like to have the output split for each of the reference code( e.g. 3 separate PDFs ).

 

Unfortunately , the example of using document-split command is just not working and i get just 1 blank PDF(3 would be still better :) ).

 

Attaching the rtf and xml for reference.

    Hi Aleksandar,

     

    You are missing the catalog-index-info command in your template. Please check the report designer's guide to see how to implement PDF splitting:

    Even with the catalog-index-info defined just below the <?for-each:current-group()?> it's the same result:

    <?catalog-index-info:'First Name' ;firstName?>

    <?catalog-index-info:'Last Name' ;lastName?>

     

    Any ideas?

    This is an almost 7 years old thread, that has been migrated across a few forums over time. The users who posted above aren't active anymore (at least they never used this forum in the past 2 years).

    Ask a new question in the Publisher category, providing all the details (product name, version) and describing your problem and what you tried so far.
