Scheduling Agent with Prompt
Summary
Scheduling Agent with Prompt
Content
I have a report that has a facility filter prompt built into it. I've created several scheduling agents based on this report and each is prompted in the scheduling agent for a different facility however the only scheduling agent that returns data is for the very first facility listed in the prompt list. Help!!! Do I need to build a seperate report for each scheduling agent?

Hello Alexis, just to clarify your issue.... In your analysis you have the prompt listener for facility is prompted an you are customizing in the agent and getting unexpected results?

Correct. I know that each facility has data but the agent only returns data for the first facility in the list. All other scheduled agents return nothing.

Hello Alexis,
I believe your use of view prompt isn't allowing your data to be viewed when scheduled, unless your customization coincides with the default value of the prompt.

Rachel

Morning Rachel,
Thank you. So it looks like I will need have a report built for scheduling separate from the report that our users can run within the system if I want them to make use of the view prompt. I really appreciate your help!
Kind Regards,
Alexis

My personal opinion is you should remove the view prompt and you can use the same analysis for viewers and scheduling. You can also remove the analysis prompt from the viewer analysis because it still causes a conflict with the view prompt if you run it outside of edit mode.

Rachel

Understood. I really appreciate your help! Totally separate question. Is there any way to restrict access to the Standard Reports?
0 -
Yes, you have to log an SR for support to change the Reporting and Analytics setting for Show Standard Reports Folder to No. This will restrict access to report viewers.

Can the access to the Standard Reports be defined by user type (i.e. OBI Content Developer, OBI Viewer)?

Hi,
Standard Reports for Learning module(HCM folder is not visible under Shared Folder) is not visible in catalog. Also can you guide me where can i get the delivered triggered event for BI Agent Notification.
Thanks
