Date Formatting - Excel Export

Can't filter by year and month on OTBI export

When exporting my analysis to excel the date column is not formatted so I can filter by year, month and day as shown in the attached screenshot comparison.  Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

This is a very old known issue and expected to be fixed in next OBI version upgrade. There have been earlier many related posts on the same providing the workarounds to have this resolved at our end.

Thanks!  That worked!  I would still be interested if anyone has a solution for correcting at the source.  Seems like there should be a format setting.
