How can we download BI Report in pdf format from download link. Presently it is coming only in html format even though setting in BI layout is set to pdf

As I said this is not an issue with POD.. please find the solution below from Oracle Support on Chrome browser issue

Fusion BI - BI Publisher OTBI - BI Report PDF Output Downloaded With HTML File Extension Rather Than PDF File Extension (Doc ID 2326149.1)

CAUSE

The issue is with the Google Chrome web-browser PDF settings.
Google Chrome web-browser PDF settings were turned off.

SOLUTION

You need to enable the PDF viewer in Chrome:
- Go to Google Chrome Settings
- Advanced
- Content settings
- PDF documents
- Turn on option: "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome"

If the issue is resolved, mark this thread as completed which will help others with similar issue.

Yes the issue might be with chrome setup. I have already done the setting mentioned above but still I am getting the same issue

Please click on the gear icon, you will get a drop down, from that, select export > PDF.

Did you get any solution to this issue? We are getting "ORA-01840: input value not long enough for date format" this error while directly trying the PDF download. Export option works.
