Where do I find DFF's in subject area Workforce Management - Documents of Record Real Time
Summary:
I am attempting to build a report using the Workforce Management - Documents of Record Real Time
I have managed to get to the Document Type Vacation Carryover Approval but I need to also include a couple of descriptive flex fields in my report
Can someone please help me find these fields in the Subject Area (if they are available) or do I have to build this report using SQL?
Is there a way to map a field on the screen back to a table/subject area?
If I need to change to SQL - how do I know which tables I have to use?
TIA
Pam

Hi Pam,
Can you please confirm if you have run Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business Intelligence process? While defining the flexfield attributes, check the BI enabled checkbox and then run this process.
The flexfields will start appearing in the SA. You will be easily identify the attribute from name in SA.
Thanks.

Hi @Gaurav Bharadwaj-Oracle, the links above go to the same blank header page for Administering Analytics and Reports for HCM.
Both links just take me here:
Can you help with fresh links?
I'm trying to find which Subject Area(s) the Inventory DFF go into. I ran the Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business Intelligence process, but cannot locate my new DFFs. The DFF is BI Enabled checked in Manage Descriptive Flexfields.
I ran the Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions For Transactional Business Intelligence ESS job and don't see the new DFF in any inventory Subject Areas. Thanks for any guidance!

Becca,
The links were to a chapter/section inside older the 22b version of document FAHCA "Administering Analytics and Reports for HCM". But this stale link has taken you up to the "title" page of latest version 24C of the same document in this case 24C. So the good news is you are in the correct document.
Just search for or look through the table of contents in this document.
You will find the 2 topics "Descriptive Flex Fields" and "Overview of Configuration".
