Users are unable to create new Analysis Reports in the Transactional Business Intelligence window

This user is just a "BI Consumer". To be able to get the other types of objects the user must be granted a job role that inherits role "BI Author Role" and/or "BI Publisher Data Model Developer". Alternatively create a custom role with one or both of these roles in it then grant that to your user. To manage roles for a user select Navigator, in Tools select Security Console.

I have added the BI Author Role to a custom employee role. Still, the issue remains the same .

Please allow some time. If you've add the BI Author role and/or BI Publisher Data Model Developer to your custom role, it should work. BI Server takes some time to get refreshed. If it is more than 30 minutes, please logout, clear the cache and close all the windows and login again.

Thank you for the solutions. The issue was resolved when I removed and added back the user to the role following with clearing the cache.
