Ability to configure email id (From field) for scheduled reports in OBI

Use Case and Business Need

Hi All,

In Business Objects scheduling under the source section we had an option to configure the "From" field with an email id of our choice (i.e. used as per company communication). But OBI agent doesn't provide us with this option and all the data output i.e. excels are delivered via default Oracle email id: defaultuserobi@invalidemail.com.

We kindly request if this feature is made available to ensure data privacy by making it configurable.

    It would also be great if you could see who else was an email recipient. Currently, the To: field is totally blank.

    Please note this Idea was submitted by Taleo users who do not have admin access and cannot modify the From Address.  The from address should be configurable at the agent level.

    Can you provide guidance on how to do this? I was under the impression this was not possible for Taleo clients. I'm an admin and I don't see anyway to edit this within the agent.

    Hello Deanna,

       It is not possible for Taleo clients.  I made the note for the OBIEE team as I wanted to ensure the use case was understood.

    We also would like to see who the recipients are when receiving the report and that it doesn't appear on the BCC line as it causes issues when sending the reports to other systems from the scheduler.
