Agree. At the very least, an 'Are you sure?' pop up would prevent many mistakes. In my experience 9 out of 10 times the drag and drop was unintentional and causes more issues that is solves.

This has happened to us many times. A pop-up message would be ideal for us.

At least the application has to prompt Yes or no before copying to the target location.

A pop up message should show even if the folder is accidentally dropped.

It's very much required to restrict drag and drop option BI catalog page to prevent the users from moving objects/folders from one place to other knowingly or unknowingly.

It would be great if we can achieve this which will help us to prevent the integration/extract failures because the report is moved to different folder by the user unknowingly.

It will be highly appreciated if Oracle implement such solution, i.e. option to enable/disable drag and drop report/folder movement. We definitely need that.

We definitely need a functionality to prevent drag and drop for report folders.

    Hi All,

Can I ask if you agree with this, can you put a thumbs up at the top of the page so oracle will take it forward for us please? 😁

    Thanks
