Moving dimension to prompt makes report run for long, the first and therefore default item is selected in the drop down box after a dimension is dragged from a pivot to the prompts section returns all rows which makes report run for many minutes

Use Case and Business Need

This will reduce report generation times drastically

    We cannot comment on performance for specific customer scenarios. This should be handled by support or consulting (depending if performance is due to an Analytics platform issue or customer data source optimizations).

    Identified a related SR, this seems to be related to "Include Null Values" and the fact that the prompt creation optimizations cannot kick in when this option is active. There is no current solution for this other than exploring the option not to include null values in the prompt.
