OTBI Reports Cannot Be Restricted by Data Access

OTBI reports do not take into account data access when displaying results. We need data security to extend into OTBI reports.

Use Case and Business Need
OTBI reports are unusable for this customer since they need all data secured by the corresponding data access.

This is a very interesting idea. I am not sure I am following you though. Can you provide more detail as to what you are seeing in OTBI? The bug mentioned is associated to seeing all of the Business Units in the prompt or List of values in the report, not the fact that the user sees Data associated to the Business Units they do not have data access for.. Are you actually seeing data associated to Business units that the user does not have data access assigned for?

With multiple countries (set up as Business Units) live on Oracle, we are now quickly having the problem of BI reports that are not restricted in data access.
We need some kind of data access restriction, so that users from 1 country (business unit) cannot see data fro other countries (business units).
This goes across modules, not only AP, also AR.
Example: AR Specialists of 1 country should not be able to see Aged Debt Reports from other countries, with certain customer data (or person) information.2 -

Restrict access to OTBI based on data access set. Implement data access security on OTBI reports.

Hello,
Can you please let me know if data access is implemented for BI reports ? As explained above, users who have access to the report should not see the data of all BUs.

Hi, ADEO-Leroy Merlin which have 1000 Financials End Users, needs that OTBI Reports are Restricted by Data Access sets

how about Person Security Profile already in place. but why it is not working for an OTBI report where the report is capturing salary and assignment history?
Example there are 4 LEs - LE1, LE2, LE3, LE4.
and 'LE1' users ( General Manager, HR ) when log in should see LE1 data only and 'LE2' users should have access to see LE2 data. where LE is Legal Employer.
but when General Manager, HR logs in - she is able to see all LE data which is not right.
Any help ?
