Need functionality to schedule BI reports with Bi-weekly or every 2 weeks option

Description

Current functionality does not allow bi-weekly option.

Use Case and Business Need

Currently we can only schedule any BI reports with daily, hourly, weekly, monthly, Annually and specific dates. There is no way to schedule biweekly. We are using custom dates for bi-weekly option but it would simplify if we can select every 2 weeks option.

We have a similar requirement for our HCM to Payroll integration wherein we want to run the extracts

1. Exclude Monday and Tuesday

2. Exclude 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of the month.

at the moment the BI reports does not have date exclusion options to meet our requirement. Request the BI reporting team to enhance the scheduling feature to meet custom date options.

Looking forward to have the feature at the earliest

Agreed. We need this enhancement at earliest. There should be an option to exclude holidays, non working days etc.

We need to run extracts every 5 business days (Starting from 2nd business day) of each month and exclude holidays falling on weekdays. Currently there is no way to schedule extracts only for calendar days so we have to schedule at least 50 batches manually each month and some times 2 times each month. There should be an option to exclude dates.

I can see the value in this - especially where the report is scheduled as an operational or compliance (SOX) control. Would like to see this option added.

Hi,

This is not possible to achieve if we schedule the reports in Reports and Analytics. However, this can be achieved if you create an ESS job to run the same report. ESS Job can be scheduled on weekly basis. While scheduling you will have the option to select the dates on a weekly basis.

Hi Piyasa,

Currently we are scheduling jobs in Financial Reporting Center\Oracle Workspace not in "Reports and Analytics". Are you saying we can create ESS jobs in Oracle Workspace? I am trying to understand because we use oracle fusion cloud to access FR webstudio for creating financial reports. we don't have license to Essbase or Planning.
