Need Search field in the OTBI subject Area
Use Case and Business Need
We Need Search field in the OTBI subject Area. Currently we have to go to each folder and use folder expand option to look for the subject areas under each folder. can we have a search field insted to input a search criteria and see the results.

In Release 13 search field is there.

But this field takes really long time to bring a result.

I know this is an old thread, but we're still seeing this problem today (2023), and there's no answer to this question. So, Anyone know how to make it faster? Is there a setting?
That aside... Speaking of OTBI taking a long time to show results from an almost entirely static data set, I just posted an Idea hoping to remedy delays when navigating the folder tree of a Subject Area. Seems as if there isn't as much caching throughout OTBI as one might think there could be.
Cache Subject Area Metadata on First Use

Thanks, Ramesh! I think an additional field that loads faster would be helpful as well. Not sure if its my end but the lag has stopped my processes in the past.
