BI Report ESS Job Does not support parameter with Dependent LOV
Organization Name
Hutchison International Limited
Description
On BI Report parameter list of values available to user can be setup base on another report parameter user selected. However, when we define a ESS Job to run the BI Report, parameter on ESS Job does not support List of value from custom SQL that depend on value of another ESS Job parameter.
Use Case and Business Need
It is common that the parameter list of value is filtered base on value selected from another parameter. This is to ensure correct List of value is filtered and return for user selection. Without the same feature available on ESS Job, this type of BI Report cannot trigger through ESS Job.
More details
We need to use ESS Job to setup a sequence of process to meet our business. This limit the type of BI Report we can use to setup ESS job set to meet business needs.

This would be useful for CK Hutchinson group of companies

Users need to generate 1 report for 1 company code, then use Excel to manual manipulate data for multiple companies separately. Expected Change : Allow users to select multiple value of parameter.
This would be a useful addition for all the CK Hutchison Group companies.
