How can we get "From" and "To" Department Hierarchy in FAW workforce Gain and Losses Subject area
Hi All ,
We are using workforce gain and losses subject area to build the promotion and demotion information including various Job and employee related attribute . This subject area has "From" and "To" dimension related job, Department , Position etc.
Our requirement is to add department hierarchy which shows 'From ' and 'To' department levels (Level 1 , Level 2 , Level 3) .
How can we achieve this in FAW HCM. Thanks in advance
EX Report Attributes .
- Employee ID
- From Department (L1)
- To Department (L1)
- From Region (L2)
- To Region (L2)
- From Area(L3)
- To Area(L3)

You could add a filter or prompts in your report with Departments.
Is there a Department Hierarchy you can use in FA HCM for OTBI reports? If yes, you should log a SR against the FAW product.

HCM - Workforce Core Gains & Losses subject area does not support department hierarchy. It is a future enhancement.

@Nupur Joshi-Oracle @Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle is there an update regarding hierarchy in the gains/losses subject area? Our team would really appreciate being able to use our org or department hierarchy in this subject area.

Hi @Gina DiVenti This release (25R2, May-2025) we added the Position Hierarchy. Have the Department Hierarchy in the roadmap and get it added.
