How can Parameters be used to Dynamically update a Fiscal Period column?

OTBI has the option to preselect options in Filters, I was curious if a similar function could be possible with parameters. I'd like to specifically select the most recent completed period.

Here's a parameter I've tried but I haven't quite been able to get it right. I got the Logical SQL query from the developer tab. For the initial value I only changed the last few lines.

Let me know any suggestions or point me towards any documentation that could be helpful. Thanks!

    My goal would be to have a dynamically updating report that automatically selects the most recent closed fiscal period, eg if we are in mid June it will select May because that is the most recent closed period.
