We want to have the FAW Subject Area folders and facts in the folder sorted by name.

I hope we need to do the same(sort) in RPD layer end i don't think we can able to do it from UI.

I guess, opening a SR with a request to add sorting into RPD will work?
Getting deeper, if we extended the Subject Area with custom Facts, will be those sorted with the seeded ones?

Yes, You can log an SR so that Team will check with dev team and get back with further comments.
