RTF template return different output vs testing it

Hi, I am having issue with my report where its not returning the expected result/design but when testing it, its works fine.

To give more context, I have this XML data and when i load it in the custom RTF template and test it (xlsx output), its returning the correct result/design. however, when I upload the RTF template in the actual report (xdo object) and run it. the output is showing incorrect result/design.

The expected result is the report has 2 different sheet/tab + parameter tab. See screenshot below

Note: I used same parameters in the XML data and running the actual report

2nd screenshot is from the actual report. its returning different design compare to above

Hi Kiko III,

How are you testing your RTF template before uploading into actual server. - Are you using Desktop tool to validate the XML report data or using plug in tool?

Hello @Mallikarjuna Kuppauru-Oracle, I'm using the BI Publisher add-ins in MS word.

I upload the XML data by clicking Sample XML, once it load successfully, then I check the result/output by selecting the Excel(highlighted in orange).

Can you try with template viewer desktop tool and let me know are you able to see the same output as add-in tool?
