How can I add parameters to a seeded BI Publisher data model

Question

We have a validated seeded data model (Journal Entry Reserve Ledger) for fixed assets that we want to add a Line of Business, Location, and Department parameter (Segment 1, 2 and 3) so managers can run the report for their respective departments.  We continue to receive an error after adding the parameter and opened an SR for My Oracle Support.  They suggested we post in Oracle communities to see what others have done?  So far, nothing we have found on the site has worked.  I welcome your thoughts.

We abandoned using the seeded model and wrote our own model.

I would really appreciate if you could provide the following additional details:

1. What is the error you are facing?

2. Did you try to add the parameters one by one(Line of Business, Location, and Department), then test the seeded report for each parameter? Does the same error occur after adding each parameter?

3. If possible can you share a screen shot with the Parameters properties? Open the Data Model and select parameters, then take the screen shot.
