Ability To Have Drop Downs From Hierarchies

For one of the reports that we are trying to recreate it has the ability to look at a top level of a hierarchy and click an arrow that drops down to the level below it and includes the measures (Revenue) for it. Would it be possible to have an interactive column that allows the user to just click it and it can go down a level? For example, for Balancing Segment level 31 is top level and does not house that much data, but dependent on the user of the report they can go more in depth and hit Balancing Segment level 29. I think this would allow the reports to be more interactive and dynamic for its users. Would love to hear others thoughts on this capability!

You can use the Hierarchy Column in the Fusion Analytics Warehouse. Below is a screenshot.

Thank you @Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle! Is there ability to filter it to an account like Revenue rather than the top level of natural accounts??? For example, I would like this report to only show Natural Account level 30 and below rather than showing 32 and 31.

You can add columns to the filter like Natural Account Level 31 Code etc.

@Cade Johnston - I know this is an old post, but I wanted to make you aware that a new feature should be coming to FDI soon called Selection Steps (it came out for Oracle Analytics Cloud customers in the May 2025 update): check out this video:

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle is it in the product roadmap to add these hierarchy type fields to the Manager Hierarchy folders in the HCM data pipelines? this ability to expand would be very helpful in pivot tables that we are currently showing by executive (Person Name 1 or Person 1 Display Name when filtered for the CEO being the Manager Person Number). Currently our end users have to manually click into Drill To and choose each level individually but it would be nice if they could expand an executive to get the managers below them and further expand those managers as well

@Jamie Anderson-Oracle Hierarchies for GL subject areas are still hidden for ERP. Is there a way to make them available again.

How do we get to the Hierarchy Column? We don't have that in our FDI setup.

Please log a service request so that we can review and enable hierarchies.

To add to Krishna's comment - enabling Hierarchies is currently a Limited Availability feature in Fusion Data Intelligence at the time of this comment, which is why an SR is required to be considered for getting this feature added to your environment. Limited Availability features are limited to a subset of customers before they are made generally available.
