FDI: HCM data security Issue

We came across an issue where we have to restrict data on the standard workbooks on a business unit basis. Let us say the client has two business units (Business unit1, business unit2) and the end users(User1, User2) are separate for each business unit. Here User1 should only see the data of Business Unit1 and user2 should only see the data of Business Unit2. Kindly let us know how to achieve this scenario.
Thanks in advance

@Nalsoft Pvt Ltd You can go to FDI Console->Security->Users->Search for User->Security Assignment
Select HCM Business Units in Security Context and click on Grant Assignment.
Another way to do this would be to use the upload feature, download the file, use Table 6-1 Security Object Codes
For example:
HCM Business Units OA4F_SEC_HCM_BUSINESSUNIT_LIST
Upload and Download Data Security Assignments

@Nalsoft Pvt Ltd You will need to assign 'HCM Business Unit Data Security' Application Role to leverage the HCM Business Units Security context.

Manage Data Access through Security Assignments won't work for HCM
We tried doing with Configuring Custom Data Security in Fusion Data Intelligence in Nine Steps. It ended in error. I will attach error logs in visualization, execution log, and steps followed. Kindly go through the attached and suggest further.0 -
Hi,
For us, manage data access through Security Assignments works fine for HCM, leveraging security context 'HCM Business Units'.

Hi orange,
Can you please share the steps you followed.

- In New Security Assignment, under Select Security Assignments, select a security context, and then search for a security value or select from the displayed list. Move the selected security assignments to the column on the right.
- Under Select Users, search for a user and select the user and move the user to the column on the right. Users are filtered based on the role associated with that context
these steps are mentioned in the document. I have selected the security context as HCM business units, selected security value as one of the business unit. But no users fetched.
In steps it is mentioned that Users are filtered based on the role associated with that context what role should be user has to be assigned.
