Please use following documentation for FDI(FAW) Data Connections there are options for BasicAuth and OAuth. There are different data connections options - you can decide what best meets your requirements
Select the type of authorization in Authorization Type.Authorization Type can be one of the following: BASICAUTH or OAUTH. Ensure that you enter these authorization types in uppercase letters without any characters in them. You must provide the corresponding fields for those authorization types. For example, if you select BASICAUTH, then you must provide a valid username, password, security token, url, client ID, and client secret. If you select OAUTH, then you must provide a valid username, token url, client ID, and private key. Remember to update all the authorization fields, because Salesforce may reset or require you to reset them regularly.

Please share any plan to enable Oauth2.0 for Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Snowflake etc.,

Per current Release Only Basic Authentication/Connection is supported so currently those are the only options BUT updates are planned for FAW/FDI to enhance authentication and encryption - please monitor What's New Section for each release where updates to connections will be listed once those enhancements are released in product :https://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?ctx=en/cloud/saas/analytics/24r2&id=FAWWN-GUID-27505232-5CDD-41B3-9ED2-C253139B49CA
