There is currently no support for Report / Book snapshots (PDF formatted files) in Management Reports (MR) and Narrative Reports (NR) in EPM Navigation Flows and the only option is to add them as Web URLs in Navigation Flows. It is most desirable to be able to navigate and select PDFs from MR/NR folders (local or remote pods) in Navigation Flow so that user will be able to view the PDFs the same way as other reports and books. This feature is critical for our organization to enable us to provide historical snapshots of past weeks to users when we migrate from Financial Reporting to NR/MR.
Ideally, our ask is to be able to display PDF files in the page layout the same way as other MR reports / books, however, the alternative ask is to be able to download and open PDF files with the URLs of the Narrative Reporting objects. The URLs of the PDF Files provided in Narrative Report properties are in the following format:
