I can also confirm that v2409 resolves the issue for my team.

Microsoft Word version 2409 fixed my BI Publisher issue… with a little work.
- uninstalled the current the BI Publisher Add In.
- Removed every instance of "TBADDIN64" from my registry that I could find
- Rebooted
- Reinstalled the latest version of BI Publisher Desktop
Now it's working correctly

Hi @User_16T4C, Microsoft did release 2409 officially. Try to force the update to the latest official version.

Hi
Thank you!. Microsoft released 2409 for users who are using Current channel and not for Monthly enterprise channel.

Hi @User_16T4C,
Gotcha! Well it seems that the best solution for you is to downgrade to Version 2406 (Build 17726.20206) by following the solution suggested by @User_5BASX on August 20th until they release v2409 to Monthly enterprise channel.

Sadly, our organization would not prefer to downgrade 😒. Could you please let me know is there any workaround for this issue rather than downgrading

There is none, this issue is ongoing since july and we found absolutely no other reliable workaround. There is nothing else in that thread and this one is the most up to date I found around. Oracle in there ticket 36947834 says v2409 or downgrade.
At least, you know that the patch exist and since you are currently on 2408, there is a lot of chance that you'll get v2409 somewhere in november so you know that the patch is coming in and the downgrade will be a temporary solution. Think about it. The Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel are currently on v2402, so downgrading to v2406 for 1 month shouldn't be much of a big deal.
Our organisation didn't want to downgrade either but when we told them, it is that or nothing, they agreed even if back then we didn't know if the patch will ever happen. For you it should be even easier since at least you know that the patch exist and it is just a matter of weeks.Good luck with that! 👍️

My desktop support person has updated my MS Word to 2409, however, the BI Publisher is still not working.
