CORS: Setting Access-Control-Allow-Origin header values for BI Analysis
Summary
How to set the Access-Control-Allow-Origin for BI analysis.
Content
Hey,
I am working with BI analysis (Sales Cloud Reports and Analytics) in Oracle Sales Cloud. There I would like to access the BI analysis X from a narrative element with a JavaScript HTTP GET request of another BI analysis Y.
However, I am getting the Access-Control-Allow-Origin error, because the analysis Y is running in Sales Cloud with a "crm-" domain and the analysis X has a "bi-" domain.
I know that you can set the Profile Option ORACLE.ADF.VIEW.ALLOWED_ORIGINS in "Manage Administrator Profile Values'. I tried to allow all domains by setting it to "*". However, I still get the same error.
What Sales Cloud components are affected by the Profile Option ORACLE.ADF.VIEW.ALLOWED_ORIGINS?
If "Reports and Analytics" is not affected by the Profile Option, is there a way to set the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header to specific trusted domains?
Kind regards,
Gleb
