Accessing a dashboard built in FDI from Fusion Applications without logging in to the FDI Console

Question

Hi Team,

Can we build a dashboard in FDI and Have it accessed from Fusion Apps without logging to the FDI console to see the dashboard.

Is It Feasible by any chance with any kind of integration, cross connections functionalities available with Oracle.

Example: when a user logs into Fusion CX, they should be able to access the FDI report without going to FDI.

Please let us know your comments if anybody has an in-depth understanding at this.

Do we need go through the SSO process into FDI to see the content after we embed into application cloud? or will it directly embed into fusion application cloud without having a dependency to login into FDI after implementing the steps shown in the DOC. Let us know please.

@akhilsaikaza As per the pre-requisites of the Blog I shared earlier you should ensure that Fusion Analytics is set up with SSO and IDCS sync.

In case you do not have the above SSO mechanism in place then, as per my understanding the SSO mechanisms should ideally be the same between Fusion and FDI for the integration to work seamlessly.

@akhilsaikaza In theory it should work but I cannot confirm the same since I have not tried a similar use case before.
