I have a security console in FAW. However, when I try to assign a role to a user to get the Create option to build reports, I do not see any option to assign a role. Please let me know how to assign roles.

You will need to click on Manage Users. This will take you to the OCI Users screen.
Here you need to assign the required Licensed Group to the Users.

I have referred to the document but I can't see the Grant Assignment option in Security Assignments. I have the below role to my user is there any additional roles required to assign group to user..?

I have clicked Manager user in the user tab. But I got "You don't have access to any apps". message.

@Manideep Boddu Sorry for the delayed response. Can you try adding FAW Service Administrator role to your user and see if you are able to see the Grant Assignment option.
@Manideep Boddu - Before you add a security assignment to a user, you must ensure that:
The user has the appropriate group assigned to them.
The group has the appropriate data role to assign security values.
Please confirm if the same has been done already. If not, then
In Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Console, click Security under Service Administration.
On the Security page, click the Groups tab, and then search for the FAW Licensed groups.
Select a licensed group, for example FAW Licensed HCM Authors.
You see the Users and Groups tabs for the selected licensed group in the right pane.
Click the Groups tab under the licensed group.
Click Add Mapping.
In Add Source System Role Mapping, search for and select the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications custom groups that you want to map to the licensed group, for example the FAW Licensed HCM Authors licensed group.
Click Save and then recheck.

You need to have OCI Admin access to grant roles to the user. Could you check with your OCI Admin to assign the required role to that user.
Changes will get reflected immediately in FDI Console → Security page.
