Filter selection
Hello,
I am currently working on limiting the selectable values in a year filter.
Currently the year filter is displaying values from 1950 till 2050. However, I would like to limit the selection possibility for the users to either
- only be able to select years where we have data or
- years from 2020 until the current year (optimally dynamic so the filter does not need to be adjusted every year)
Has anyone successfully implemented a similar solution, and if so, could you share how?
Thank you very much for your support!

Hi Sumanth,
I found this documentation already. Unfortunately it does not specify how to limit the displayed filter values just having for example the year filter.

Howdy @JT_DC_2023 !
I suggest for making the years dynamic by adding 'Trailing Year Number' column into a global filter and hiding it from the end users to limit the years that they are able to interact with. You could add another dashboard filter after using the global to allow end users to choose amongst the last 6 years or whatever you specify.
For your question concerning only choosing the years that contain data maybe filtering out the nulls for those specific columns?
If any of this helps or you have another question let me know!
