Donut chart type not available in OTBI

When can we expect “donut” charts to be available in OTBI. As of now, there is only an option for pie charts. Donut charts are currently options in Data Visualization and BIP though.. Vanderbilt University vice chancellors despise pie charts, and we are only allowed to use donut charts for any content or dashboards we create for them. Thus, there is no option for us to show data in a “segmented circular” chart that easily conveys percentages. Thanks!

Use Case and Business Need

Vanderbilt University vice chancellors despise pie charts, and we are only allowed to use donut charts for any content or dashboards we create for them. This enhancement would enable us to show data in a “segmented circular” chart that easily conveys percentages to our vice chancellors. Without enhancement, our institution cannot use any charts in the “segmented circular” category in our reporting content.

Pie charts can be problematic when dealing with sections that are very small in relation to the whole. Donuts work much better for these visualizations.
