Why does FDI show session timeout inspite of having an active browser tab?

Why does FDI show session timeout inspite of having a browser tab where I am actively logged in and performing activities, and when I am still within the 60 minute timeout window?

Hello @User_3512R
Please see the following doc -
FAW:FDI:FDIP: FDI Session Time Out Setting Not Working As Expected (Doc ID 3055526.1)1 -
Hello the above document says multiple OCI sessions using the same browser causes this issue. Can someone confirm if this is an issue with the same OCI service (e.g., two sessions of FDI) or does it apply to different services opened using the same browser (e.g., Prod instance of Fusion ERP, Dev instance of FDI)?
Excerpt from document:
"This issue will occur when a user signs in to Unifier in multiple tabs in the same browser session. OCI environments use the same IDCS instance for all environments including Prod, Stage, Test, etc. When a user opens a tab and connects to any environment, lets say Prod for example, a session cookie is written to the browser's cache. This session cookie includes the timeout setting for that session. If a user then opens a second tab in the same browser to another environment like Test, a new session cookie is written to the browser cache over-writing the first session in Prod. When the user switches back to that tab, the is will show a session timeout error."
