Include a column in an out of the box analysis when null

I would like to use an analysis in OTBI but include the data when a column has a null value. What happens now is when I add the column and that column is null, the results are filtered out. I would like to use this analysis to identify when the column is null. Is there a way to do this without having to customize through BIP?
