Snowflake connector in Oracle FDI

Hi Team,

There is a pre- configured connector for Snowflake available in FDI. Can it be used to ingest data from multiple tables from snowflake to multiple tables in ADW as there is a requirement to create multiple dashboards based on snowflake data. Can we create multiple integrations using this connector. Can we use this connector multiple times as we have observed FCCS connector can be used once ?

@FDI_USER Yes, As long as the multiple tables are in the same Table Schema which you have defined in your Snowflake connection in FDI.

@FDI_USER You can connect to your Snowflake database which is mentioned in your Snowflake account under Data.

You will need to enter the below details which are compulsory for connecting to the snowflake database.
Table Schema: Your Snowflake table schema such as TPCH_SF1.

Warehouse:
SHOW WAREHOUSES
[ LIKE '<pattern>' ]
[ WITH PRIVILEGES <objectPrivilege> [ , <objectPrivilege> [ , ... ] ] ]

At this point FDI does not allow multiple connections to the external connectors.

Multiple Augmentations: You can create multiple augmentations using the same connector to bring in different sets of data from Snowflake to FDI ADW, based on your specific requirements.
Purpose of the Connector: The Snowflake connector is designed for data extraction, while the augmentation process allows you to select what data needs to be brought from Snowflake.

This flexibility ensures that you can structure your data ingestion process efficiently to support multiple dashboards and analytics use cases.

Eg : if we want to pull data from Azure OneLake, ADF Pipeline DB into FDI-ADW, what's the process involved?
