How to schedule a report in FDI?
Answers
-
@Georgina Sawyer - To create schedules for a workbook in OAC, you need:
1. The BI Service Administrator application role (or any role with the Schedule Workbooks permission).
2. Read-Write access to the workbook.0 -

Question: I am able to schedule a report in this view and deliver it through email, however, when the product gets delivered, the formatting of the product is different from what was made in FDI/FAW. an example is the font changed from what was formatted on the workbook. Is there a reason for this or settings?

@Georgina Sawyer I am able to schedule report via FDI by configuring SMTP steps mentioned in the below document

I submitted an enhancement request in the idea lab to have a duty role for this permissions.

@Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle
I do not see the "New" button on the Schedule tab. Do we still have to submit a service request to enable this feature for FDI?
Do we have to configure SMTP for the "New" button to display on the schedule tab?
It's been difficult to find the proper documentation to configure the environment for scheduling FDI workbooks to be emailed.0
