PowerBI Connector on FDI
We are using Fusion Data Intelligence to access Oracle ERP Cloud data through the standard data pipelines and will be enriching the Oracle ERP Cloud data with data from an external source (non Oracle system).
Instead of using the native OTBI like capability in FDI, we would like to use PowerBI.
Has anyone successfully use PowerBI on top of FDI?
There is this Oracle note but not sure if anyone has done this before
Keen to hear if anyone has done it and whether it worked or what kind of issues you encountered?

The Power BI client option provided is intended for local Power BI Desktop usage. If this approach is chosen, each end user will need to install the Power BI Desktop client on their local machine.
Additionally, this approach comes with certain limitations, which are outlined in the following document:

Other than the Power BI Client Option, are there any other ways of connecting to PowerBI?

@Annick Tang - Through FDI and OAC there are no other options to connect to the Power BI.

Thanks @Sumanth V -Oracle, is it possible to connect PowerBI directly to the Autonomous Data Warehouse (which is the database that FDI sits on), or do we have to connect via OAC?

@Annick Tang - Connecting through OAC, you will have advantage of using the OOTB semantic model and also the workbooks developed using the OOTB Subject areas. If you are directly connecting to Data warehouse directly with a different analytical tool, these all needs to be developed from scratch there as well.
