I set myself a challenge to see what I could do with a dataset by entirely leveraging Oracle OAC’s Auto Insights and setting a 15 min time limit.  By leveraging the power of AI in OAC to “investigate on my behalf” gives me some great insights allowing me to work quicker and smarter.  I just gave the canvas a colour and transparency and put a shadow and border on the generated viz’s to make them “pop” a bit.

Auto Insights gives me a palette from which I can select and group the insights I am interested in – and as brushing is enabled across them all I can get some great insights.  Another bonus is that some analytics generate custom calculations, which I can then use in future hand-crafted analytics (e.g. when top 10's are created - I can duplicate the calculation and rename it and change the dimensions or top X value to quickly use as a component in my own analysis, etc).
