Group Filter set to parameters with default values but no data returns, even though it's there.
I created a Data Model with an Excel spreadsheet. I added a group filter setting the parameter to a value and I even converted it all to strings in the group filter. However, I'm still not getting any results back. What could be the issue here?

Try adding a parameter to your data model instead of a group filter.

Hi @jmore92,
Quick question: Have you executed the query with all the parameters values directly from the data model editor to see if it is fetching any results? If it is bringing data then we have to check while passing values from prompt there might be some issue.
If you can share some screenshot (without any sensitive data etc.), code etc. it'll be helpful to understand the issue.
Thank you.

The data source is an excel spreadsheet. How would I edit that query?

Leave the filter out.
Just create a data set with the xls spread sheet.
Does it generate data?

Without the filter, data generates. I constructed it with no filters at first.

I tried adding the parameters to the data model setting the columns to th parameter values but I'm still getting nothing back. I removed the group filter, too.

I got the parameters to work. It turns out on one of them there was a data issue in the spreadsheet causing it to not work.
