Oracle Analytics Desktop Publisher and/or BIP Desktop Publisher Installation issue

I am receiving an error message when trying to install Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop:

"Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."

Any insights are appreciated.

Running MS Office 2016 , 64 bit Word. Enterprise license by my enterprise email id.

I remote into a stand alone desktop to perform the install there.

Yes, thanks. The initial steps are completed properly. Installation of 64 bit java (8), JAVA_HOME set.

The version of word that is installed is an enterprise version, which is activated by my enterprise email credentials.

I see though that Add-Ins via home page ribbon, or File menu are not available in my version of word.

I have done this install successfully on my home PC. It was straight forward as should be.

Ah…I see from the link you provided:

Initial checklist
Enable/Re-register Windows Installer Service <Did this, didn't fix>
Run the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter <Not available>
Update/Install the program in Clean Boot state <Did not fix>
Edit the Transforms registry value for the software <Not sure how to do this one, regedit I get>
Reinstall the software <Can't install to re-install>
Perform System Restore or Reset PC <I don't have authority to do this one, it has jst been rebuilt I hear>
