FAW/FDI : Ability to have more than 10 Accounting Key Flexfield Segments in FDI Subject Areas

Hello

We are implementing Oracle ERP Cloud for customer in the insurance and banking industries. Some customers have chosen the route to have a rather long Accounting Key Flexfield Structure, going beyond the usual 10ish segments.

One of our customers has a structure with 20 Segments.

In FDI only the first 10 (or even 13 pushing the standard limits) are visible in the GL Subject Areas.

We would like to have the ability AS A STANDARD FEATURE to have the same limitation in FAW/FDI than in the ERP - which is 30 Segments.

We know we can create custom objects and do some data augmentation but the IDEA here is to have this as a standard feature.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you for the post.

FDI uses the same BI Object name mapping in Fusion. BI Object name mapping is available for 3 qualifying segments and up to 10 non qualifying segments. Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence can support maximum of 13 GL segments respectively.

Hence we only support 13 Segments which is same as OTBI.
