Not able to change the Date Format

I am not able to change the date format to YYYY-MM-DD in BI Publisher Web Layout Editor( Currently it is showing YYYY-MM-DDTimestamp). I am getting proper backend output using the Datamodel sql query (in Format YYYY-MM-DD), but the same query in frontend report showing with timestamp.

The date in XML has to be in canonical format.
