BI Publisher report encryption

Hi, we are using OAS 7.0, OBIA 7.9.6.4, EBS 12.2.1 with Oracle19c database on Linux. We have a BI Publisher report that runs on a query based on EBS tables (real time) which has sensitive data. We have made the report content that is distributed as email attachment, password protected but the users are asking for the report content to be encrypted during distribution for security reasons. Is there a way to encrypt the report content while it is being distributed as email attachment, in addition to being password protected. Any tip is highly appreciated.

Excel can be password protected.
And the file can be encrypted when sent to a SFTP target. The link I sent includes details:
Use PGP Keys for Encrypted Report DeliveryRgds,
