Oracle SR Team has asked me a question: is the Dashboard run from BI Answer or embedded in SUI?

Can anyone help me on how to answer the above question from oracle team.

I have built an OTBI Report and tagged to the dashboard. The Report is taking long time when I have ran it from dashboard and also Individually. So for this I have raised an SR with Oracle. They are asking the .HAR file.

Please provide the possible information

Hi Anjan,

You cannot run a report in OTBI from BI Answers. You have probably built an analysis in OTBI not a report in OTBI. After you saved it as a file in a folder in the catalog is it a blue or yellow icon. I assume it is blue?

BI Answers is the blue "Analysis" option in the list of values on menu Create. You can use this to build an analysis in OTBI (blue), not a report in OTBI (yellow), then save it to catalog. You can "open" that file to run an analysis it in BI Answers or you can "edit" that file to run it using tab results in BI Answers. Alternatively you put your analysis on a page on a dashboard often with a dashboard prompt. You can then run your analysis from a dashboard. You can also create a yellow data model and report in OTBI. Again the report can either be run directly from the catalog in Publisher. Or you can put your report on a dashboard to run it from a dashboard.

Only you can create a HAR file. That is a recording of you using your system that support can use to understand what the system is doing. My Oracle Support will provide you with instructions on how to generate a HAR file.
