Oracle ADW - Pre built Roles, Custom Roles

This question is regarding Dev Ops direct client access in Non Prod to ADW DB standard content prior to building some downstream integrations to on premise applications.
As we know in ADW we have the OOB schema with prebuilt content and in particular the tables and views.
Does Oracle provide any OOB roles to segregate access on that OOB schema? i.e. between CX Analytics based objects and HCM Analytics based objects or is it just the default DW_ROLE that is enabled that has read only visibility to everything ?
And for custom direct access to ADW DB directly any role based security to segregate you'd have to manage via extensions i.e. another custom PAS ADW instance with the roles configured there with the segregation required?
Or any other quick fix possible on OOB content without some Oracle fix or change?
Many thanks in Advance

Hi,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum.
As your question is all about database objects, I suspect you aren't using OAC or OAS directly (because they don't come with any data).
Are you using FDI? Or OBIA? These are the 2 products that could come with a pre-designed database model loaded with data from a set of sources.
If that's the case, if you can provide the name of the product you are using, the question can be moved to the right category.
Thank you :)

thanks for the reply.
I am using FDI - but specifically accessing FDI out of the box content via ADW database.
so the question is really on FDI /ADW as opposed to FDI/OAC.

Ok, that makes sense, thanks.
I'm moving it in the FDI category, this should give you more chances to get a valid answer.
