Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) - Full Analytics Currency support

Hi there,

My organisation has several different primary and secondary ledgers, in various different currencies.

The main thing stopping us from using CAA for reporting workbooks and dashboards is the lack of a Analytics currency in the subject area.

Can we bring full Analytics Currency support to CAA?

Yes this would be an improvement to CAA.

Thank you for sharing your requirement. At present, adding Analytics Currency support to Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) is not feasible by design. The purpose of CAA is to help link transaction details between the General Ledger and subledgers using ledger currency metrics and entered currency for more detailed analysis.

Analytics Currency is intended primarily for enterprise-wide analysis in a single reporting currency, rather than for tie-back between GL and subledger transactions. For scenarios involving various reporting currency ledgers, we recommend continuing to use the Ledger Currency metrics within CAA for consistent and accurate inline with what is present in Fusion source.
