Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop installation fail

Hi Team,

I am trying to install

I'm trying to install Oracle Analytics Publisher desktop om windows 64. Initially it failed during first installation. I checked in programs and features through control panel but nothing was visible. I cleared it from program files , start menu but still getting same error .

I followed all steps mentioned in one of oracle note

Below are the steps to remove :

Uninstalling Oracle BI Publisher Desktop

Uninstall the Oracle BI Publisher / Analytics Publisher from the Microsoft Windows Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs option.

Go to the installation folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Oracle) and verify the BI Publisher directory is removed. Delete this folder if it still exists.

Open Microsoft Word and verify the BI Publisher tab no longer appears.

Shut down and restart your workstation before reinstalling Oracle BI Publisher Desktop.

Thanks for responding to this post. I have already tried this and unable to remove all traces from program files from step 2

Program Files\Oracle) and verify the BI Publisher directory is removed. Delete this folder if it still exists.

Any suggestion on this please

I get the error while I only have that window open.

Do you have any other suggest?

Any updates on how did you guys able to reinstall the Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop? I'm still not able to reinstall it myself after performing the provided steps.

Hi Raph, I had the same issue and it took me a long time to finally solve it. I was also getting the error, even though I hadn't installed Oracle Publisher Desktop yet.To fix it, I had to delete the registry key at HKLM\SOFTWARE\ORACLE.

Note: Make sure to back up that registry key before deleting it.
